Fern Software APMEA will be at the 2nd Annual Asia Pacific Microfinance Forum on 22 – 23 October 2019 in Singapore.
Debbie Watkins, Managing Director of Fern Software APMEA, has been invited to act as chairperson for the second year running. This year she will also be giving a presentation titled “Increasing Financial Inclusion Through FinTech” where delegates will learn how to incorporate FinTech platforms into their ecosystem to launch innovative products for the low income population.
Organised by Uniglobal, the 2nd edition of the Annual Asia Pacific Microfinance Forum takes a deep dive into the emerging prominence of financial technology (FinTech) and examines the potential implications on the financial inclusion industry across the Asia Pacific region.
With an unprecedented record of strong investment across Asia, many believe that the new innovations in FinTech can help microfinance institutions stay relevant in a rapidly-changing landscape and address their immediate challenges as they brace for competition from new entrants, increasing operating costs and other uncertainties.
This year’s agenda will feature a host of FinTech experts and industry thought leaders who will share their perspectives and experience on the latest development in FinTech and evaluate its role in shaping the dynamics of the financial inclusion industry.
Together with microfinance institutions, social impact investors, banks, international finance organisations and microfinance practitioners, forum delegates will have the chance to meet with industry stakeholders and discuss the future of microfinance in Asia Pacific.
Forum delegates will also have the opportunity to discover the latest Fern Software solutions at our exhibition booth so don’t miss out on this event!
