Debbie Watkins, Managing Director of Fern Software APMEA, will be joining fellow panellists at the Cambodia Annual Microfinance Conference 2018 on 14 December 2018 in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.
The panel discussion on ‘Effectiveness Through Innovation’ will examine the challenges faced by financial institutions in promoting financial inclusion and explore approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency via the adoption of new technology and innovation.
Organised by Cambodia Micriofinance Association (CMA), this year’s conference centres around the theme ‘Managing Change for a Sustainable Future’ with a focus on recent and significant changes and impacts which could potentially alter the fundamental role and the business of microfinance in Cambodia.
The agenda of the conference will take a deep dive into the sustainability and relevance of current business models of local microfinance institutions and discuss the risk, benefits and impact of modern technology on them.
