Talys Group, official Fern Software APMEA partner for Middle East, North and Francophone Africa, will be at the African Microfinance Week (SAM) 2019 on 22 – 23 October 2019 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso to showcase the latest Fern Software solutions.
Organised by ADA Microfinance, the 4th edition of the bi-annual African Microfinance Week (SAM) 2019 will set its sight on the major issues faced by microfinance institutions across the African region.
Despite achieving substantial economic growth with the help of digital innovations, Africa is still trailing the rest of the world in poverty reduction and sustainable development; economic and social progress are unable to keep pace with the accelerated population growth due to regional migration crisis and the existential threat of climate change.
Themed ‘Pathways Towards Impact: African Inclusive Finance for the Sustainable Development Goals’, this year’s agenda will examine the challenges and steps taken by key sector stakeholders towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda set out by all United Nations Member States in 2015.
The conference will explore topics on Agricultural Finance, Macro-Level Alignment with SDGs, Digital Finance and FinTech, Small & Medium Enterprise Development and Youth Employment, Gender Inequality and more.
Together with regional microfinance institutions, investors, researchers, banks, networks, innovators and government officials, conference delegates will have the chance to collaborate and meet with inclusive finance professionals and practitioners from around the world.
Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to discover the latest Fern Software solutions demonstrated by our official partner at our exhibition booth so don’t miss out on this event!
