SINGAPORE – 25 September 2018 – Abacus, Fern Software’s market leading core banking system for inclusive financial institutions worldwide, has been selected by Aman Microfinance as the core banking system to support their current 25-branch operations in Egypt.
Aman Microfinance, a subsidiary of Raya Holding, was established by Aman Financial Services in early 2018 to provide timely, accessible and diversified financial solutions for the unbanked and under-banked population.
The implementation and support of Abacus was provided by Talys Consulting, a regional partner of Fern Software in the Middle East and North Africa, and Aman Microfinance plans to expand its operations and current branch count to 150 branches in the next five years backed up by Talys professionals and experts in this industry.
