Smart Campaign recently held an event at the World Bank offices in Washington, D.C. to mark the formal launch of the Client Voices Project, a multi-country research investigation which studied first-hand experiences and feedback of the clients of financial providers in Benin, Georgia, Pakistan, and Peru.
Since March 2014, the Smart Campaign and its research partner Bankable Frontier Associates (BFA) have conducted desk research and field work in these countries with the aim to understand and shine the light on the experiences, concerns and worries of individuals who use microfinance services.
During the launch event, project partners and expert panellists shared their key takeaways, presented key findings and discussed their implications for the industry.
You can download the project’s synthesis report titled ‘My Turn to Speak: Voices of Microfinance Clients’ here.
